Bio: Beth graduated with her Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she also received her Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science. Beth has been training professionally for over a decade and is passionate about helping people solve their pain without surgery or injections - because she’s experienced it herself. After breaking her back in 2006, Beth was recommended for a spinal fusion. She refused and sought other solutions. Beth founded Lark Fitness Company in 2021 to bring those solutions to you. She enjoys going for long, meandering runs and bike rides and is proud to be born and raised in Greensboro.
“Beth is amazing and she is such a wonderful coach. I am seeing major improvements, and I trust her completely. Going to a gym or fitness center is always somewhat awkward at first, but she was able to make me feel comfortable right away. She explains things really well, she follows up, and she runs a terrific business. Go see her!”

Between injuries and lack of routine throughout the pandemic, I was left feeling pretty discouraged - but Josh and the team at Lark have helped turned that around! I can honestly say I am feeling better physically and mentally than I have in a long time. I appreciate the expertise and research that drives their program planning. On top of that, they are clearly building a community where everyone feels included, and that’s really important to me. Amazing!”

"Lark is a fantastic facility with incredible coaches. Beth, the owner, is so kind, welcoming, and intelligent. I greatly valued every conversation I had with her leading up to my joining the gym. My trainer, Karli, is fantastic. She puts a lot of effort into getting to know me and tailoring my workouts to my needs and goals. Bio: Karli is a graduate of Hendrix College where she studied psychology and medicine while playing college softball. It was during her studies of medicine that she realized there had to be a more empowering way to create long-term health, so she became a performance coach. When she’s not at the gym you can find her at a coffee shop in the morning and a brewery in the evening, reading books, biking on a trail, shopping for vinyls, and spending time with her soon-to-be wife and two dogs. Karli’s singular goal is to enhance the quality of life for all and fitness is her vehicle to do so.
"I originally reached out to Lark because I was experiencing lower back pain and I wanted to address any underlying weaknesses. I was skeptical about personal training and have never really enjoyed the gym, but I’ve ended up looking forward to every session at Lark. There is a real emphasis on personal goals and Chloe took the time to listen and create a plan that improved my back pain, was realistic to stick with, and fun. Lark focuses on strength and improved quality of life without any of the toxic fitness and weight loss vibes. Each session has been interesting and chatting with Chloe makes the time fly – she’s collaborative, positive, and easy to talk to. After a few months with Lark, I have a new outlook on how fitness can complement your life!"
